The current health care bill focuses on taking advantage of government subsidies to pay for health insurance coverage. This very expensive legislation in debate does not address sky rocketing health insurance costs. Congress should scrub the bill and think of a new way to fund the program with out raising taxes.
If Congress took a deeper look into things they would recognize that they are able to save billions by battling Medicare fraud. When the fraudulent measures have been corrected then they should start focusing on a health care reform bill. We must first fix what is broken before we can start new legislation.
