Nevada Health Insurance Exchange

The Nevada Division of Health Care Financing and Policy (DHCFP) has scheduled another set of public meetings to discuss the purpose and general requirements of a Nevada health insurance exchange, Earlier this month, DHCFP held a set of public meetings that focused on outreach, education and enrollment to establish a basis of understanding what the PPACA requires in establishing a health insurance exchange.  The new public meetings are expected to focus on an overview of the commercial market, individual and small group market rules, risk adjustment in the exchange, the role of the exchange in rating, and certifying health insurance plans for participation.
